What is the best food to give Shih Tzu's? - my shih tzu keeps scratching
I have 5 years old Shih Tzu scratches and recurring problem of the skin, where it is leaking, that bites the skin until it bleeds! The vet gave me pills for the itching predinisone. It worked, but the problem again and again. I did some research and wrote to the Food allergies more likely. If you are the same race / same problem, please let me know what you have discovered you. I am grateful. Thank you!

My Husky / GSD mix rescue is a food allergy, so I had to give Blue Buffalo Wilderness before the start of the first. Find a food with no corn, wheat or soy, because they can often cause problems. I would be after a meal with a protein source other than what is now in the food. Dogs can develop allergies to the long exposure times to the food. Probably to avoid the chicken and beef.
